Internet Design Tools will shortly be releasing Netfig Deployment, the first set of Netfig plugins, for beta testing. We are now looking for Beta testers.
This feature set incorporates several plugins that will extend the functionality of the Netfig platform. New features will include:
- Automatic deployment of configuration files
- Live extraction of syntax to correspond directly with devices being used.
- Macros to allow linking and substitution in configuation files.
- Encryption of passwords stored in local files.
- SSH conection to routers.

The Netfig Platform is a productivity tool for
the configuration of network devices.
It provides a rich environment for editing and
version control of
configuration files.
It will be extended by a number of
plugins that will support more advanced features including deployment support,
network monitoring and simulation.
The Netfig Platorm is free, you can download it from here:
